In the desert sun, we have to be really careful about sunscreen, hats, and water. Camp is a lot of fun, but only if everyone is safe. Even in the midst of fun, counselors remind campers to drink lots of water and put on sunscreen. We also try to have activities in the shade or inside when possible to keep our cool.
